She graduated from Belmont University in Nashville, TN in 2006 with a double major in Commercial Music Performance and Music Business. She has sung background vocals for Motley Crüe’s “Home Sweet Home” (Katrina Version) and can be seen singing in “Alan Jackson: Let It Be Christmas” on CMT. In 2007 her debut single “Until You Come Back To Me” became Billboard Magazine’s #1 R&B Single Sales Song of the year, staying at the #1 spot for over 6 months straight. Along with her songwriting and recording career, she has been teaching voice and piano lessons since 2008. Many of her students have found success in national pageants, local community theater, talent competitions, showcases, and school productions. She teaches Mini Music Makers, an early music education class, at both Augusta County and Rockingham County Parks & Recreation, incorporating original learning songs and curriculum. She does voiceover work for Crimsonmuzik Vocalz, providing custom vocals for national competitive cheer music. She is new to the Shenandoah Valley but has already become involved in local theater, most recently playing Oz in the ShenanArts production of “We Will Rock You.”
